Chongqing, as a shining pearl in western China, stands proudly on the banks of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and is known as the "mountain city". It is not only the economic heart of the region, but also an indispensable core engine in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. As an important advanced manufacturing base in the national strategic deployment, a leader in western finance, and a city that integrates international comprehensive transportation and gateway hub functions. Chongqing is the second batch of national historical and cultural cities designated by the State Council, with profound and unique cultural heritage. From the magnificent Dazu Rock Carvings, a world cultural heritage site, to the natural wonders of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, to the lights of Hongya Cave, each place is a national scenic spot that makes people linger on and forget to return. In addition, the lingering charm of Sichuan Opera and the exquisite traditional skills such as lime kiln together constitute a rich and colorful national intangible cultural heritage map of Chongqing. The strong academic atmosphere and unique local customs will make your trip worthwhile. Chongqing welcomes you in 2025!
Many thanks in advance for your great support to the Chinese Control Conference!
